Principal Activities



The Society is run to cater for anyone with a interest in Railways and Transport.


Monthly indoor meetings covering many aspects of railway and transport subjects.
Visits to places of railway and transport  interest, including model and miniature railways.
Members Quiz evenings.


Each month speakers give talks to members and visitors on a wide variety of railway and transport subjects, past and present.


             Meetings are held monthly throughout the year at the               Cricketers, Grace Road, Leicester. LE2 8AD

They are normally held on the third Tuesday of every month except December! We also have a number of afternoon meetings, please see programme for details.


Meetings start at 7-30 pm. (Ample parking, Good beers and food are available)

Some afternoon meetings will be held during 2018.
